While Saint Laurent’s ode to Los Angeles style certainly attracted the city’s biggest and brightest stars, like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Jane Fonda, would any homage to the City of Angels be complete without an appearance by its perennial poster girl? Eschewing her infamous red bathing suit and pouring her infamous hourglass beach-ready figure into a chic all-black ensemble that recalled a modern-day Brigitte Bardot, Pamela Anderson arrived on the red carpet oozing the city’s minimalist sexy appeal.
With the 48-year-old were her handsome two sons with Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee, Dylan and Brandon Lee, who are on their way to becoming stars in their own right. Dylan, with his fop of brown hair, fronted Saint Laurent’s Spring 2016 campaign, joining Hedi Slimane’s roster of muses. And while last night marked a rare front row appearance for Anderson, the Cali girl has been keeping busy in the fashion world: She recently designed a line of vegan shoes with French designer Amélie Pichard. Anderson’s shoes may be a far cry from the ’70s rocker-glam Saint Laurent designs Slimane sent down the Saint Laurent runway, but perched on the Palladium front row, the Anderson-Lees looked every bit Los Angeles’s first family of style.
