Rumor: Friedman & Bloomfield Are Eyeing UWS Space for Butcher/Diner

Is the Spotted Pig duo headed to the UWS?

Ken Friedman and April Bloomfield are expanding their empire. Rumor has it that the duo behind The Spotted Pig, The Breslin, Salvation Taco, Salvation Burger, and The John Dory Oyster Bar are eyeing 375 Amsterdam, where the uptown outpost of Risotteria briefly lived. Word on the street is that Friedman and Bloomfield are teaming with Jocelyn Guest, the butcher at their new Salvation Burger. Says an insider, “It’s a butcher shop/ diner concept.” There is no name as of yet, but we hear they will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Spotted Pig team does not have any comment about this project at this time.
