Take a Look Around Downtown’s Highly Anticipated Corporation Food Hall

The place is up and running right now, but construction is a plague

It’s a somewhat ominous day for Corporation Food Hall to open in Downtown, given the jungle of nearby construction that has cut off access to the property from all but one direction. Still the place is now serving (mostly construction workers) for lunch and dinner, with a handful of different restaurant concepts, a bunch of communal seating, and three-sided back bar for after-work drinks.

Corporation Food Hall sits just off the corner of 7th and Spring, near the immensely popular charcoal-black ice cream shop Little Damage. The long, narrow property opens with a pulled-back front that allows for patio seating out towards the sidewalk. There’s a glassed-in Bardonna coffee option just to the right before the main doors, while inside the other restaurants flank both walls to allow for seating down the middle.

Inside, office types and Downtown locals can dine on a variety of cuisine types, from casual Mexican fare at Tacos Tu Madre to fish from Poke2Go to rice bowls from Buddha Belly. The back bar is being run by the On The Thirty team as well, and there’s a full list of restaurants here.

Corporation Food Hall opened late last week just before the Labor Day holiday. There are no hours listed on the property’s website just yet, but expect at least noon through 6 p.m. (that was their soft opening timing, at least), if not longer, daily.
